Para primeira publicação do ano, partilho uma das minhas últimas pinturas efetuadas, com uma mensagem de amor na família. Todas as famílias devem ter o amor como princípio e, assim, serão sagradas, puras, alegres, sábias. Este amor deve vigorar em qualquer altura e em todos os seres humanos. Assim, deixo também os meus votos de muito amor na vida de todos vocês.

For the first post of the year, I share one of my last paintings, with a message of love in the family. All families must have love as a principle and, thus, they will be sacred, pure, joyful, wise. This love must prevail at all times and in all human beings. So, I also wish a lot of love in all of your lives.

#1 Ofereça arte como presente

A arte não visa tanto o efeito de decoração, mas vale pelo seu significado. Podemos adquirir arte por nos transmitir uma mensagem especial ou para oferecer a alguém, expressando também uma mensagem. Há pessoas que parecem ter tudo e nos deixam na dúvida sobre aquilo que podemos oferecer de novo e único. Mas, se apreciarem arte, uma peça de arte pode ser o presente ideal. 

#1 Offer art as a gift 

Art is not so much aimed at the effect of decoration, as it is for its meaning. We can acquire art to convey a special message to us or to offer someone else, expressing a message as well. There are people who seem to have everything and leave us in doubt about what we can offer new and unique. But if they appreciate art, an artwork can be the ideal gift.



#2 Ofereça arte a novos pai e mãe

Uma pintura, como a que apresento na foto, pode ser pensada como um presente para casais que acabaram de ter um filho. Esta é uma excelente forma de transmitir uma mensagem de amor com arte, através de um item exclusivo, com significado e valor. Na pintura, o casal parece espelhar-se, numa harmonia perfeita que resulta do amor que nutrem um pelo outro. A mãe e o pai beijam o filho bebé que aparece no centro. E, um bebé torna-se mesmo o centro numa família, é vulnerável e precisa de muito amor e proteção.

Este trabalho pode ser ainda visto como uma reinterpretação da sagrada família e ser um excelente presente para pessoas que colecionam presépios. É ainda um trabalho que simboliza o nascimento, o princípio da vida, ou o princípio de um novo ano que espero que se traduza em grandes felicidades na vida de todos nós.

#2 Offer art to new parents

A painting, like the one shown in the photo, can be thought of as a gift for couples who have just had a child. This is a great way to convey a message of love with art, through a unique item, with meaning and value. In the painting, the couple seems to mirror each other, in a perfect harmony that results from the love they have for each other. The mother and father kiss the baby son who appears in the center. And, a baby really becomes the center of a family, is vulnerable and needs a lot of love and protection.

This work can also be seen as a reinterpretation of the sacred family and is an excellent gift for people who collect nativity scenes. It is still a work that symbolizes the birth, the beginning of life, or the beginning of a new year that I hope will translate into great happiness in all of our lives.

Você pode gostar de um estilo de pintura ou do trabalho de um artista em particular. Mas, pode descobrir algo perfeito na obra de novos artistas, por vezes encontramos peças inesperadas que nos dizem muito. Já me aconteceu encontrar pinturas que parecem ter tudo que ver com experiências específicas e emoções minhas.

Os meus trabalhos são efetuados sem seguir qualquer estilo ou plano e derivam de ideias súbitas ou de imagens oníricas. Procuro representar a energia, a força do subconsciente. A pintura da foto foi efetuada em acrílico sobre papel Canson 200g, com as dimensões de 32 x 41cm, e tem um acabamento em verniz.

#3 Discover new artists 

You might like a painting style or the work of a particular artist. But, you can discover something perfect in the work of new artists, sometimes we find unexpected pieces that tell us a lot. It has happened to me that I have come across paintings that seem to have everything to do with specific experiences and emotions of mine. 

My works are carried out without following any style or plan and derive from sudden ideas or dreamlike images. I try to represent the energy, the strength of the subconscious. The painting presented was painted in acrylic on 200g Canson paper, with dimensions of 12 1/2 x 16 1/8 in, and has a varnish finish.
