Olá, leitores! A publicação de hoje vai incluir um pouco do meu gosto pessoal e da minha experiência no mundo da bijuteria artística. O que quero dizer com bijuteria artística é uma bijuteria que é elaborada com técnicas manuais que exigem poucos recursos tecnológicos e muita habilidade do artista ou artesão e que é realizada em peça única. Deste modo, cada bijuteria será uma obra de arte, muitas vezes irreproduzível por ser difícil encontrar materiais semelhantes e por ser difícil repetir o mesmo formato. É claro que outros processos industriais e bijuterias repetidas também têm algo de artístico, mas quero destacar as peças únicas neste momento. Incluo nesta ideia não só os modelos mais trabalhados, mas também os mais simples. Estes, ao serem realizados dentro do mesmo estilo, ficarão mais parecidos, mas não iguais, é o caso dos brincos da primeira imagem.


Hi readers! Today's post will include some of my personal opinion and experience in the world of artistic jewelry. What I mean by artistic jewelry is jewelry that is made using few technological resources and a lot of skill of the artist or that is made in a single piece. In this way, each piece will be an artwork, often irreproducible because it is difficult to find similar materials and to repeat the same shape. Of course, industrial processes and repeated jewelry also have something artistic, but I want to highlight the one of a kind iems at this moment. I include in this idea not only the most elaborated models, but also the simplest ones. These, when made in the same style, will look more similar, but not equal, as is the case with the earrings in the first image.

Uma dúvida que pode surgir é se precisamos de ter uma peça ou algumas peças artísticas e como as podemos utilizar. Estas bijuterias diferentes, únicas, servem precisamente o propósito de marcar a diferença no nosso estilo. Dão um brilho extra, um toque especial, tanto no dia-a-dia como em ocasiões especiais, como eventos de música, teatro, arte, um aniversário. Ou seja, ocasiões com uma energia criativa e divertida que podemos transportar também para o nosso look, para a nossa presença.

A doubt that may arise is whether we need to have some artistic jewelry and how we can use them. These different, unique jewelry serve precisely the purpose of making a difference in our style. Give an extra shine, a special touch, both in everyday life and on special occasions, such as concerts, theater, art events, a birthday party. That is, occasions with a creative and fun energy that we can also carry into our look, into our presence.

No meu caso, apesar de trabalhar com arte, gosto de manter as coisas simples no outfit. Por exemplo, penso que fica muito elegante usar poucas ou apenas uma peça de bijuteria para complementar o look. Passa-se o mesmo com as cores, gosto de cores contrastantes, mas sem exageros e, muitas vezes, de ver um look monocromático. Penso que podemos jogar com esta simplicidade e, ainda assim, ter um resultado marcante com apenas uma bijuteria.


I work with art, but I like to keep things simple in the outfit. For example, I think it's very elegant to wear a few or just one piece of jewelry to complement the look. It's the same with the colors, I like contrasting colors, but without exaggeration and, often, seeing a monochromatic look. I think we can play with this simplicity and still have a remarkable result with one single jewelry.



Relativamente à primeira foto, escolhi um look com ganga que pode incluir uns brincos com pedras de um tom de vermelho muito claro, que contrasta com a ganga e a camisola branca e combina com o vermelho vivo da t-shirt. Tons de vermelhos nas bijus iluminam looks com ganga, como um vestido, uma camisa, um casaco. Os brincos da primeira foto estão disponíveis.


In the first photo, I chose a look with denim to complement it with earrings with a very light red stone, which contrasts with the denim and white shirt and matches the bright red of the t-shirt. Para a segunda imagem, combinaria o look com uns brincos mais trabalhados, em cobre, com contas de vários materiais em tons de amarelo e azul. Estes brincos ficam o máximo quando conjugados com um vestido amarelo, conforme tem a modelo da foto, ou top. O look fica deveras diferente com um ponto de azul sobre o amarelo, muito mais criativo e divertido. Este é um look que não só serve para o dia-a-dia, mas também para uma ocasião especial, divertida e descontraída. Os brincos da segunda foto estão disponíveis.


For the second image, I combined more elaborated earrings, in copper, with beads from various materials in shades of yellow and blue. These earrings look great with a yellow dress, as the model in the photo has, or with a top. The look is really different with a dot of blue over yellow, creative and fun. This is a look that is not only for everyday life, but also for a special, fun and relaxed occasion. The earrings from the second photo are available.

Agora, podemos perguntar: onde é que se descobrem estas peças de bijuteria únicas, elaboradas por artistas e artesãos? Aqui relato um pouco da minha experiência. Depois do desafio de começar a criar bijuterias, do qual falo nesta publicação, surge outro desafio: onde vender bijuterias? As minhas bijuterias já estiveram expostas em quatro pontos:

Now, we can ask: where do we find these unique pieces of jewelry, made by artists and artisans? Here I report a little of my experience. After the challenge of starting to create jewelry, which I talk about in this post, another challenge arises: where to sell jewelry? My jewelry has already been presented in four places:

1. Blogues. Este é o meu segundo blogue. No começo deste blogue, apresentei bijuterias para venda. Falo um pouco sobre a minha história dos blogues de bijuteria neste post.

1. Blogs. This is my second blog. At the beginning of this blog, I presented jewelry for sale. I talk a little about my history of costume jewelry blogs in this post.

2. Mercadinhos. Tive várias experiências de venda de bijuterias em mercadinhos e feiras de artesanato. É uma experiência interessante, embora trabalhosa pelo facto de ter de se levar todo o stock, a mesa, cadeiras, coberturas, expositores, por ter de se preparar a banca, dispor as peças e voltar a arrumar tudo no mesmo dia. Por vezes, estes mercados duram vários dias. Mas, o lado interessante é que as pessoas podem ver as peças presencialmente, comunicar na forma de uma conversa que flui melhor do que as mensagens e podem levar imediatamente a peça escolhida para casa.

2. Craft market. I had several experiences of selling costume jewelry at craft markets. It is an interesting experience, but laborious. I had to take all the stock, the table, chairs, covers, displays, and then prepare the stand and put everything back in the same day. Sometimes these markets last for several days. But, the interesting side is that it is possible to see the items in person, communicate in the form of a conversation that flows better than the messages and be able to immediately get the chosen item.

3. Lojas físicas. Já tive as minhas bijuterias em loja física, veja esta publicação, esta e esta. Fiz várias bijuterias dentro do mesmo estilo, mas nunca iguais, para essa loja. Tratava-se particularmente de uma loja local que vendia outras peças de bijuteria e artesanato e outros artigos para oferecer. Os brincos mais procurados eram semelhantes aos da primeira imagem.

3. Physical stores. I already had my jewelry in a physical store, see this post, this and this. I made several jewelry in the same style, but never the same, for this store. This was particularly a local shop that sold other pieces of jewelry and crafts and other gift items. The most wanted earrings were similar to the ones in the first image.

4. Lojas online. As lojas online têm vantagens para os visitantes, pois podem observar todas peças numa visita e escolher de acordo com os seus gostos e necessidades. Além disso, é possível adquirir os itens ficando em casa, em alguns dias recebem a encomenda pelo correio.

4. Online stores. Online stores have advantages for visitors, as they can see all the items in one visit and choose according to what they like and need. Further, it is possible to get the items staying at home, in a few days they receive the order by mail.



Em suma, nestes quatro lugares podemos encontrar vários artistas, cada um com o seu estilo, e uma infinidade de peças diferentes, onde estará aquela ou aquelas que parecem ter sido criadas especialmente para nós.
